Orders & Payment
We’re happy you found something you like! Our colleagues from Customer Service can assist you with placing your order.
👉 If you did not receive a confirmation email, please ensure that you have correctly spelled your email address. It is also possible that the email has been filtered into your spam or promotions folder. Please double-check these folders to see if the email is there. If you still cannot find the email, you can check your account page on our website for your order details. If you continue to experience issues, please do not hesitate to contact our customer service team through the widget in the bottom right corner of your browser window. To avoid missing future emails, consider adding our email address to your contact list or marking it as "not spam." This can be done by right-clicking on the email in your spam folder and selecting the appropriate option.
We’re sorry but it seems like the item(s) from your order are out of stock. That’s why we had to cancel and refund your order. If you're feeling lucky, check out our store and contact the support to help you to find a new style or size.
Orders are automatically processed in our system. Therefore, if you would like to change your order, you will have to return and order the right item again. Or you can exchange for another style/ size for free. Access Shipments & Returns.
Our Royal Core collection contains Kings Of Indigo bestsellers and classics, that are restocked regularly. Our website displays all the products we currently have in stock. Unfortunately, we are unable to deliver items that are currently unavailable on our website. However, you may still find these items in our store in Amsterdam or at our retailers. To locate our points of sale, please visit our Store Locator and get in touch with the shop.
You can find your ordernumber in the confirmation e-mail. The number looks like 1000XXXXX if you ordered on kingsofindigo.com and 2000XXXXX if you ordered on kingsofindigo.de. Can't find the e-mail? The order number is also visible in your account under 'orders'.
We provide a range of payment options to finalize your purchase, including iDeal, Credit Card (VISA, Amex, Mastercard), and Paypal.
In case you have changed your mind and want to cancel your order, you can cancel it online - up untill the moment it's fulfilled and send out by our warehouse. After that, the process would be creating a return.
Please wait for a dispatch and shipping confirmation email to then allow you to track your order.
This can be because of two reasons:
- Discount codes will not apply to sale items;
- Discount codes will not apply in alignment with other codes;
- You are trying to apply a single use code;
- The discount code is only for the first purchase;

Ordering at the Kings of Indigo online shop is completely safe. In addition to our 100% guarantee, your privacy is fully guaranteed. All orders are transmitted over a secure Internet connection using SSL (Secure Sockets Layer) encryption and other measures (click here to see our Privacy Policy). Your details will not be saved. Every order is secured with Trusted Shops, a ‘watch dog’ that checks online shops for compliance with their quality criteria that involves strict requirements regarding service quality and legal requirements. We have been awarded their ‘trustmark’.
Delivery
Currently we are able to deliver to the following countries: Netherlands, Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Belgium, Bulgaria, Croatia, Republic of Cyprus, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Ireland, Italy, Latvia, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malta, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain and Sweden.

This means that something went wrong during the delivery process and the package is back to our warehouse. In this case, our warehouse will register the items back as a "return" and you will get automatically refunded. From there, please, contact us via email support@kingsofindigo.com, we will check what was the main reason of it and find the best solution for you to receive your package back.
Our delivery partner is DPD. Please note, Kings Of Indigo can not be held liable for lost packages delivered by DPD when you choose the option of leaving your package in a safe place, choosing this option is always on your own risk.
Delivery within the Netherlands, Belgium, Germany, France and Finland is free for orders over €100. For an overview of all shipping costs and an indication of delivery times please click here.
No problem. You can have your order delivered to an alternative address, by adding it in your account and selecting it during the ordering process.
Shipping & Returns
- You may return item(s) that are sold and fulfilled by www.kingsofindigo.com within 30 days of delivery for a (full) refund of your garments.
- We cannot accept item(s) without a complete return form.
- The items(s) should be intact with the original labels attached.
- The product should not show marks of being worn, such as stains, smell and use damage.
Note: Items can be returned within the right to cancel but returning them in such condition might include compensation for lost value by the customer.
*The obligations in our Terms & Conditions aren't essential requirements to effectively exercise the right to cancel.
You can return all items within 30 days for a (full) refund. Check our return page for information regarding return costs.
Returning your order is simple; please head to our return portal here to start the process. In the return form, you will need to fulfil:
- Your postal code
- Order number: starting with 300XXXXX
Please include the packing slip and/or return form in your package so our warehouse can process your return correctly.
For the exchange, we offer free shipping back. To require your exchange, in the shipping portal, select the exchange option and follow the instructions. If you need more support, contact support@kingsofindigo.com or via Whatsapp.

You can return normal sale items within 14 days and non-sale items within 30 days of delivery for a (full) refund. Check our return page for information regarding return costs.
Items are refunded to your original method of payment when they reach our warehouse and pass through our usual processing steps, which may take up to 28 days from the day the items were received due to the time of the year.
Return transactions are usually instant, but in some cases there can be clearance delays. Please allow up to 10 working days from the date the refund is issued for your return to be credited to your original payment method.

Due to Brexit we are unfortunately not able to ship to the UK anymore. We are currently working on a solution to be able to ship orders to the UK again as soon as possible.
Yes, you can, and we encourage this from a sustainability perspective as well. How does it work? Create the return form from the website for each order, use both return forms and add them to the box. It is possible to get back the second shipping cost, please get in touch with customer service at support@kingsofindigo.com. You will get one shipping label for each return, but use one of them on the box, so you don't need to use/print the other shipping labels. Thank you for being sustainable with us!

In case you've received a wrong item or a defected item, the return or exchange of the item will be completely at our expense. Please follow the usual procedure of returning the item. In case you’d like to exchange the item, you need to return it first and then order the item again in the right size. Indicate which item(s) you've received incorrectly or with a defect and which item you still wish to receive. Please also reach out to our Customer Service.
The cost of return shipping is €5 (ex VAT). We do not offer a refund for initially paid shipping costs, if your order was under 100 € (for more information check out our overviewof delivery charges). The reason for this is that we would like to encourage you to make conscious choices about what you are buying. By avoiding unnecessary returns the impact of CO2 emissions on the environment is minimized. To this end we do our best to guide you through our online shop by sharing with you extensive information on the item and model’s size and fit, and by providing you with clear product images and an updated size guide. If you have any questions, you can always reach out to our customer support team via email at support@kingsofindigo.com.
You have the right to cancel your order within 14 days of purchase. If we receive a written notification of the cancellation within this period we will refund the full amount including possible shipping costs (not covering the cost for return shipping) as soon as we have received the complete order back. The written notification needs to be sent to support@kingsofindigo.com within the specified 14 days from the purchase date and needs to contain the following information: Full customer name and email (associated to the customer account) as well as the order number which can be found int he order confirmation.
In case your order is already shipped, any cancellation will also require you to return your order. Please check returns.kingsofindigo.com to arrange your return.
To use of voucher return option you will need to select this option in the return portal. A member of our team will create and send a voucher to you worth 110% of your original purchase!

Free Repairs
All Kings Of Indigo items come with a three-year repair warranty. This means that if you purchase a Kings Of Indigo jeans, shirt, jumpsuit, or any other item, any necessary repairs within the three-year period will be covered. Our commitment aligns with our vision of promoting reuse, reduction, and repair in the fashion industry. We prioritize crafting high-quality clothing with minimal environmental impact—tough to break, but easy to fix.
For all items we cover repair costs up to €20 euros through our dedicated customer service.

All Kings Of Indigo items can be repaired. Whether it's jeans, tops, skirts or jumpsuits - on every item we offer a repair warranty of three years.
If an item is deemed irreparable, we will inquire whether you would like to return the item, or if you prefer, we can assist in donating or recycling it on your behalf. We're dedicated to find the most suitable solution for you and the planet.
Product
We're sorry for any issues with your item. You're covered if a problem occurs within 28 days of purchase; return it hassle-free. For issues after, please provide order details, images, and a description. We're committed to quality and optimal customer satisfaction. Therefore repairs are covered up to €20. In case you have bought your item at one of our resellers, please contact the store. We will always strive for a solution that makes you able to love your Kings Of Indigo item (again)!

Please use the "size guide" section on each product page to find the most accurate measurements for each garment. Also, you can access our Fit Guide👖, which will provide you more detailed information about the fabrics and fits. If you can't find this, please check out our fit guide here. Please note that the size chart/guide is based on body measurements. So measure your body and not your pair of jeans! :)
▫️Tencel Lyocell is often favoured by ethical clothing brands like us. Production is completely carbon neutral and these fibers are 100% biodegradable.
▫️Organic cotton is a natural fiber grown without the use of toxic pesticides and synthetic fertilizers, making it safer for the planet, farmer and wearer. It is produced and certified to organic agricultural standards.
▫️Hemp & Linen are both grown without the use of pesticides and nasty chemicals, and they hardly take up any water.
▫️Recycled cotton is re-purposed cotton that would otherwise be waste for the landfill.
Our favorite shade of blue, Indigo, lights up with wear creating your own personal imprint. The fact that the color has to ‘set’ can result in blue hands, Indigo can bleed a little in the beginning. We advise you to wash your garment with natural vinegar.In case your jeans is bleeding, there are several recommendations you can follow to prevent that:
- Wash jeans several times in cold water to rinse out any loose dye that may rub off.
- Turn them inside out, so the jeans is not rubbing against other items.
- Wash it together with other dark colours.
Sustainability
Being 100% transparent in all our processes and production is one of our main priorities. That’s why we are proud to announce that we have earned several certifications that confirm our pursuit for sustainability in everything we do.
OCS sets requirements for third-party certification of certified organic input and chain of custody. The goal of the OCS is to increase organicagriculture production.
GRS guarantees a company’s fabrics consist of at least (!) 20% of recycled content and verifies the socially responsible and environmentally friendly production practices.
RCS verifies the presence and amount of at least (!) 5% recycled material in a final product via third party verification.
EIM Score is a new technology that measures the environmental impact of all our denims. This score is awarded based on water & energy consumption, chemical use and the impact on worker’s health. In case you would like to find out more about how we are reducing water use, please read here.

We have a special collection dedicated to 100% recycled styles. For these items we use a combination of pre- and post-consumer recycled cotton. This decreases the need for newly grown cotton and environmental impact, such as water use and GHG emissions.

Since 2019, all our jeans are officially 100% vegan! We have eliminated all leather-based materials from our production, the jeans' backpatches are made of jacron. Other than that, virgin animal-based fibers are a no-go for us. We do however offer a small range of products containing recycled wool. Wool is a very durable material, with body temperature regulating and antibacterial properties that in general need less home laundering. Luckily, wool is very suitable for recycling, which has been done for a long time already. This gives us the opportunity to work with this great material, but with a lower impact on the environment compared to virgin wool.
We believe in a holistic approach to sustainability. This means we make high-quality jeans, use low-impact materials and processes, assure fair practices in factories we work with, make efforts towards a circular economy and are transparent along the way. The purpose of packaging is to protect your favorite KOI items before they arrive at your doorstep. We did however already eliminate the plastic packaging for al dark and black denims. For all other products we use 100% recycled polybags.
