Every pair of jeans tells a story - some just have more chapters than others. At Kings of Indigo, we’re closing the loop by turning worn-out jeans into new fabric. Old denim is shredded, cleaned, and respun -ready to become something new without wasting what’s already here.
What 100% recycled really means?
There are two main ways to recycle cotton: from production waste, or from garments that have already been worn.Our 100% recycled denim comes from the latter -post-consumer cotton.
These are jeans collected after use, carefully sorted, cleaned, and shredded back into fibres. Those fibres are then spun and woven into new fabric, ready to start a new chapter.
Both forms of recycling help reduce waste and save resources -post-consumer simply carries the stories of the people who wore it before.
